I found this on a beach near Blackpool using a cScope 4PI recently. I initially thought it was a child's toy as it didn't have much weight to it and there was no apparent fuse. I was surprised then to find out that it is actually a "live" American Hand Grenade, probably from WW2 but used upto the Vietnam War. It's been responsibly disposed of, without causing a major incident and is typical of my luck, the best find I get and it has to be got rid of!!.
