Sunday Dig - 25th October 2026 - Springtime Nursery - Stotfold

On Sunday 25th October we will be visiting a new site, Springtime Nursery (near Stotfold).
*** Please Note - This Dig will be £10 per person ***
The fields used to be arable farmed, but have been left for a while.
The landowner has had the regrowth cut right down now, so it looks fine for detecting.

Directions
The only access is directly from the A1 northbound, just over a mile north of J10 (Baldock Services).
*** Very Important - As you drive north of the A1/J10, stay in the left lane and when you see the BP garage sign start to slow right down.
The entrance to Springtime Nursery is at the very start of the BP sliproad - BEFORE the sign that says "Services".
I will put the HDMDS sign at the entrance, but please don't miss the turning!
Drive down the track, past the bungalow and through the gap in the hedge on the right just before the glasshouses. We will park here.
If you do miss the entrance the quickest way back is all the way up the hill to the water tower exit, right at the small roundabout, over the A1, left at the T-Junction, then all the way back south on the A1 to J10. Then back up the A1.
