In Finds For ID
I wonder if anyone can help me ID this item which I found yesterday? You can tell it was originally gilded. There's quite a lot still on the reverse, just a few pitted bits left on the front, so it must have been a bright object. Any ideas on what it might be or the period it came from would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.
