Started detecting in 1481 and still waiting to find a hoard. Mind you, it wasn't easy in the early years, as I had to wait for Gustave Trouvé to invent the first metal detector in 1874. Unfortunately, even after I bought a detector from Monsieur Trouvé, it just wouldn't work. I realised that the batteries that I bought back in 1800 from Alessandro Volta had gone flat!

I arrange the club digs and collect the money on Sundays, so don't be shy in seeking me out.
